Victoria Álvarez conveyed a topic of adult conversation that leaves children out and condems them to live with fear while excluding them from facing their concerns in a rational way.

Álvarez is the daughter of undocumented immigrants. She resorted to her teaching skills as well as to her own experience to make a comic book that has already been distributed through 12 states of the U.S. via religious and civil organizations.
